Andover, Mass. (Dec. 7, 2024) — The New England College Tennis Alumni Network hosted a tennis and networking event Saturday evening at Spark Fitness and Tennis Club, bringing together former college tennis players for an evening of sport, food, and connection.
On December 7, 2024, the New England College Tennis Alumni Network chapter hosted a Tennis Play and Networking Event at Spark Fitness and Tennis Club — and it was a smashing success! The event combined tennis, food, and meaningful connections for a unique evening of fun and camaraderie.
Fourteen players took to the courts, kicking things off with a dynamic, doubles-focused warm-up designed to keep the energy high and encourage partner rotation for maximum mingling. The tennis action continued with competitive doubles play, organized by skill level to ensure engaging matchups. After 90 minutes of spirited play, participants gathered for dinner and networking, creating new professional and personal connections.
“It was an incredibly enjoyable night. It’s rare to relive the glory days on the court with other former college tennis players. Getting to know everyone and hearing about the fascinating things they’re involved in made time fly — so much so that the Spark staff had to remind us it was closing time!”

The event’s relaxed yet vibrant atmosphere made it easy for attendees to reconnect with old teammates, and competitors, and forge new friendships. The Spark Fitness and Tennis Club’s state-of-the-art facilities and welcoming staff played a pivotal role in the evening’s success.
As the night wound down, participants exchanged contact information, promising to stay in touch and attend future events. Plans are already underway for the next alumni gathering, which promises to bring even more energy and enthusiasm to the court.
Whether you’re a seasoned tennis pro or simply someone who loves the sport, the Boston Tennis Alumni Network invites you to participate in our events to stay connected, and active, and relive the thrill of collegiate tennis days. Stay tuned for upcoming events — and don’t forget your racket!
