The New Haven chapter of the College Tennis Alumni Network held its second event at King Pong in Middletown, CT, for an engaging evening of play.
Due to unfavorable weather conditions for outdoor tennis in Connecticut, the chapter opted for a lively session of table tennis as a way to get back “into the swing of things.” Although the event was not held in the New Haven area, the chapter was fortunate to have ten group members join.
The venue featured six ping pong tables, including a glow-in-the-dark table under black lights and a ping pong robot, adding an exciting twist to the event. Attendees were thrilled to reconnect, catch up, and discuss plans for upcoming outdoor events.

“The event was a great success and so much fun! It was fantastic to see the ITA College Tennis Alumni Network members and play a few friendly competitive games of ping pong. Safe to say that everyone is excited for warmer weather and playing outside!”
Noelle Strzalkowski, New Haven chapter co-coordinator & University of New Haven ‘19 alum
Looking ahead, the New Haven chapter plans to host a mixed doubles tennis tournament at local tennis courts in New Haven. Stay tuned for more details!
