The Seattle, WA chapter of the ITA College Tennis Alumni Network, led by co-Chapter coordinators Nishaant Limaye (Whitman, 2019) and Jamie Fisher (Portland, 2018) officially kicked off with an outdoor tennis event on Saturday, June 8th.
The group reserved a few courts at Lower Woodland Park and organized rotations of dingles, team singles, and other games. The kickoff event was a success: 18 alums attended in total, representing 14 different schools.
“We had a great turnout and it was fun to catch up with old teammates and friends while also making new connections. I think people enjoyed the format, and there was a good blend of tennis, conversation, and laughs. Looking forward to more events in the future!”
Nishaant Limaye, co-Chapter coordinator & Whitman College alum

What’s next for the Seattle chapter? Nishaant Limaye writes: “We think that a social event such as a happy hour could be a fun way to make the group more inclusive and foster additional connections off of the court. Stay tuned for something in the fall/winter!”
